Measure the Engine Before Ordering
Check the cylinder bores for diameter, taper, and out-of-round wear. Then, measure the pistons, crankshaft journals, and bearing clearances. These findings determine whether refresh-level parts match the planned repair.
During assembly, verify piston-ring end gaps and bearing clearances against the correct Polaris specifications. Also, inspect every sealing surface before installing the new gasket set.
