  • A core is a used original manufactured engine that can have a “second life” after being remanufactured. Cores are important to Rev 6 because…


  • A refundable core charge is a fee you pay when buying an engine that will be returned when you send the old engine you are replacing back. Once we receive your core, we will inspect it to determine if the core is damaged. If you paid the refundable core charge at your time of purchase, you will get up to the amount you paid based on the damage found on your core. That amount is dependent on the type of engine you purchased.

  • Rev 6 specializes in remanufactured engines, transmissions, and parts. This means that we will use both new & used parts. All used parts are fully inspected before use.

  • Most of our customers use FedEx or UPS to ship in their cores. Here is a video on best practices for shipping in your core!


  • Our master technicians conduct a quality control inspection on every engine & transmission before it is shipped out. If the engine/transmission does not pass the quality control inspection, it will be sent back to build to fix any issues. It will be checked once more before it is sent to verify that any issues have been addressed.

  • There are many reasons your engine may have failed. Let us know if you would like an official diagnosis. We will inspect your motor, determine what failed and send you an official diagnosis as well as potential solutions to fix the problem.
  • It depends on the user and type of riding as well as the preventative maintenance schedule. But it is common to get 6,000 – 12,000 miles on your Rev6 engine!

We offer a parts swap service for $250. This means that we will take your other parts that typically are not part of the engine rebuild and put them on your new engine. That way when you receive it you don’t have to worry about transferring any of the parts.
We offer a standard 1-year warranty on all of our engines/transmissions. We also offer an upgraded worry-free 2-year warranty for $399.

What should my torque specs be?

Typically we are about one week out. For an exact estimate on lead time please call our office and we can give you an exact lead time.
With years of experience fixing engines we know what the most common problems are with each engine. We have worked with our master technicians to come up with solutions to those issues ensuring you get the best engine on the market.
You don’t have to send your motor in. There is an option for a refundable core charge you can pay to receive your new engine. We also offer engines that don’t require a core charge as well.
The core is your old engine.
RZR 800 is $1,100
RZR 900 & RZR 1000 is $1,700
RZR 570 is $1,500
Once your engine has been inspected these amounts are refunded.
