Best customer service out there. Called me the very next day to verify the correct parts. I wasn’t able to answer due to a work meeting. I received a text shortly after explaining what they needed. I was able to text them a photo to make sure everything was correct. Above and beyond customer service.
Response from the owner:Thank you for the feedback Jonathon! We're glad to hear you had such a positive experience with our customer service and that we could communicate in a way that worked for you. We look forward to servicing your small engine/transmission needs in the future.

So far so good in regards to the engine. Haven’t put very many miles on it yet. That being said only 4 stars because I had to tap the bores where the engine mount bolts to the case. If there were a half I would give 4 1/2. There bright side of this situation is that I knew at that point I had a new case used to build my engine. Only other issue was I got charged a late fee for my core. After explaining why my core was late due to not having the correct tap to complete the threads in the case, Rev 6 was reasonable enough to credit the late fee back. Overall very happy with my rebuilt Polaris ranger engine from these guys. They will help you out with any issues, but it pays to be reasonable and patient
Response from the owner:Thank you for your feedback Tommy! We are glad to hear you're happy with your rebuilt engine. We are glad we were able to discuss your particular situation and help out with the late fee. We look forward to servicing your small engine/transmission needs in the future.

Equipment and parts are better than I expected along with the price, and shipping was fast I would recommend Rev6 to anyone

I just baught a turbo rzr motor from these Guys and was was happy with how things went until yesterday (roughly 3 weeks after I got my motor) and I got a call from them wanting me to pay an invoice because the core i sent back needed repairs. I told them before I sent it back that it was knocking and they said no problem but now they want me to to pay 1000 bucks for repairs the core needed so since I refused they voided my warranty on my new motor. I will no longer do business with this company. Steer clear
Response from the owner:Thank you for the feedback Austin. We’re sorry to hear that this experience was frustrating and want to clarify how our process works. REV6 is a remanufacturing facility, which means all engine and transmission purchases require the return of a structurally sound, rebuildable core. As outlined in the Core Refund Policy and Payment & Order Terms sections of our Rev6 Sales Agreement, customers are responsible for major damage to components such as engine cases, camshafts, cylinder heads, oil pans, and for ensuring internal components are in rebuildable condition. While we understand you advised that the core was knocking prior to return, knocking alone does not always indicate the extent of internal or structural damage. Upon inspection, our team identified damage that exceeded acceptable core standards and required additional repairs. Per the Sales Agreement, when this level of damage is found, the associated repair charges are the customer’s responsibility. As also stated in the agreement, if required core charges are not paid, the account is considered unpaid in full and the warranty is voided as a result. This is not a discretionary decision, but a standard policy applied consistently to all customers. The Sales Agreement is provided in the customer welcome email at the time of purchase so expectations are clear before the transaction is completed. Our policies are in place to ensure fairness and consistency across all remanufactured products. The damage invoice you received included the documented pictures of the damage. If you would like to discuss the matter further, our customer service team would be happy to assist you.

I did receive my motor i had to tap the crankshaft an they sent some parts then told me i will have to send motor back for them to be able to get the correct oil filter housing even after i gave the correct one dont not recommend

I would give zero stars if I could this company wasted my time by saying they had a motor when they didn’t when I got on the phone with them the seemed uneducated on what they were even talking about so I refunded it and got my money back very ashamed they have so much potential but don’t use it
Response from the owner:Thank you for the feedback James. We’re sorry you had confusion surrounding your order. To clarify, the listing you purchased was for an engine rebuild service only, which requires the customer’s engine to be sent to us first for rebuilding, not a ready-to-ship engine. This information was stated in the original listing, and based on your feedback, we have since added an additional sentence to make this requirement even clearer moving forward. We wish you the best with your repair.

Would give less than 1 star if I could. We run a small power sports shop in SE Minnesota and service neighbors, farmers and anyone looking for reliable people-oriented service. We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction each and an every time. We have used Rev6 over the years and have generally had good luck with their products. I say "luck" because after our last experience, that's all it ever was. In fact, they had just reached out prior to this incident about becoming a dealer for them. A simple crank bearing issues has evolved into significant expense on our end because Rev6 simply won't take back their product without charge. After having crank bearing torque issues with their parts, we were told, "You also won't see any turnover or fitment issues with other components you removed (crankshaft and bearings), as those parts have already been run and worn down." So basically what their parts department is telling us is that we should expect their parts to come with fitment issues because they are new? At the end of the day we asked for either a complete refund of the engine kit, or for them to at least send us a new crankshaft and bearings WITHOUT any charge on our end. We'd happily send back the defective parts in the original packaging. Just asked for a paid shipping label so we could either move on or simply swap out the bad part but they refused. We ultimately sent out the engine to a machine shop that specializes in sled and SxS engine machine work. They will make it right and we will absorb that cost because at the end of the day, making things right is what we do for our customers. Rev6, not so much. We will stick with Hot Rods products as we have done for so many years prior.
Response from the owner:Thank you for the feedback Chris. We appreciate the history of doing business with your shop and the opportunity to respond, as we take all feedback seriously. We're happy to hear that up to this point, you have had multiple good experiences in dealing with our company. In this case, the components supplied were verified as correct based on rod numbers, crankshaft numbers, and case numbers. We were not provided with measurements or the diagnostic information that would allow us to determine whether the concern was related to a defective part versus existing case or journal wear—particularly important with part-only orders where original components may already be out of specification. At the time of contact, we requested additional information so we could properly evaluate the concern. Unfortunately, that information was declined, and the engine was instead sent to a third-party machine shop. As communicated, we are more than willing to review their findings once measurements and documentation are available. To date, we have not received that data, nor have we seen any other customer reports that would indicate a widespread or confirmed defect with these components. As outlined in our published warranty policy, all shipping costs associated with returns or warranty evaluations are the customer’s responsibility. This policy is applied consistently and was not specific to this situation. We respect your decision on how to proceed for your customer. Our goal is always to work collaboratively with shops to identify root causes and resolve issues fairly and accurately. Should you choose to share the machine shop’s measurements or findings, we remain open to reviewing them and continuing the conversation.

Was kinda skeptical about ordering at first because there's so many places online to order from. I placed my first order and they shipped the same day and let me know that it shipped via text and my order came fast. My second order was the same way but they texted me for some additional numbers off the machine I was working on to verify I would be receiving the correct parts, nobody else that I know of does that. I will be ordering from them again when the time comes.
Response from the owner:Thank you for your feedback Travis! We're glad to hear that your experiences with our shipping and verification process exceeded your expectations. We look forward to servicing your small engine/transmission needs in the future.
