The Yamaha Wolverine RMAX 1000 Top End Refresh Kit combines the gaskets and piston rings needed for top end engine service. It is designed for RMAX 1000 2-seat and 4-seat models.
This refresh kit includes Standard (STD) piston ring kits rather than complete piston kits. Therefore, inspect the existing pistons and cylinders before choosing your rebuild parts.

When to Choose a Top End Refresh Kit
This kit is intended for top end service when the existing pistons remain reusable. Before assembly, inspect the pistons, cylinders, and sealing surfaces for wear or damage.
Also, confirm the correct piston ring clearances and engine specifications before installation. Then, follow the proper Yamaha procedures for ring installation and final assembly.
