Yamaha Wolverine RMAX 1000 Engine Refresh Parts
The Yamaha Wolverine RMAX 1000 Master Engine Refresh Kit combines piston rings, valves, bearings, sealing parts, and timing components for engine service. It is designed for RMAX 1000 2-seat and 4-seat models.
This Master Kit includes two Standard (STD) piston ring kits rather than complete piston kits. In addition, it includes four intake valves and four exhaust valves for cylinder head service.

Master Refresh Kit vs. Engine Refresh Kit
This Master Kit adds four intake valves and four exhaust valves for additional cylinder head service. If your existing valves remain serviceable, consider the RMAX 1000 refresh package without replacement valves instead.
Refresh Kit or Engine Rebuild Kit?
This kit uses Standard (STD) piston ring kits and does not include new pistons, a crankshaft, or connecting rod kits. Therefore, inspect those components before choosing your rebuild parts.

Inspect Components Before Assembly
Before installation, inspect the pistons, cylinders, crankshaft, connecting rods, cylinder head, and bearing surfaces for wear or damage. Also, confirm the required piston ring and bearing clearances before assembly.
Then, follow the correct Yamaha procedures and specifications for valve service, piston rings, engine timing, torque values, and final assembly.
