The Yamaha Wolverine X2 1000 Exhaust Valve Kit includes four replacement exhaust valves for cylinder head and valve train rebuild work. This focused kit is a good choice when the exhaust valves require replacement but the remaining valve train components are still serviceable.

Inspect the Cylinder Head and Valve Train

When the cylinder head is apart, inspect the exhaust valve seats, valve guides, and related components for wear or damage. Also, check the intake valves and valve stem seals before final assembly.

Exhaust Valve Installation

Before assembly, confirm that the replacement valves and related components meet the required specifications. Then, follow the correct Yamaha procedures for valve installation and cylinder head assembly.
