Polaris RZR 1000 Engine Rebuild Service (2014–2016 XP & Non-XP)
If your RZR 1000 has lost its edge—less pull, rough idle, or noticeable engine noise—it’s usually a sign that internal wear is catching up. Waiting it out only makes it worse. A full rebuild gets everything back in line so the engine responds the way it should.
At REV6, we tear the engine down completely and rebuild it with corrected clearances, proper sealing, and refreshed components. The result is an engine that runs smoother, pulls harder, and holds up over time.
What Gets Addressed
This rebuild focuses on restoring performance across the entire engine—not just replacing parts, but correcting wear throughout.
- Complete teardown and inspection of all internal components
- Cylinder head rebuilt, cleaned, decked, and set to proper specification
- Exhaust valve guides upgraded with manganese bronze material
- Intake valve guides inspected and replaced as needed
- Valves and seats recut and vacuum tested for proper sealing
- Camshaft components cleaned, polished, and inspected
- Crankshaft verified within OEM tolerances
- New high-babbitt main and rod bearings installed
- Cylinders inspected and reconditioned to restore proper finish
- New moly-coated pistons and rings installed
- Timing chain and oil chain inspected and serviced
- Refurbished oil pump assembly
- Engine cases inspected and machined where required
- All gaskets and seals replaced
- Final assembly torqued to factory specifications
