Engine Rebuild Service for Polaris Sportsman 1000 (2014–2020)
The Polaris Sportsman 1000 is built to handle serious work and heavy use. When the engine starts to wear down, performance drops and reliability becomes a concern. A full professional rebuild is the most dependable way to bring it back.
At REV6, every engine goes through a complete teardown, detailed inspection, precision machining, and controlled assembly. Once it passes final inspection, it’s shipped back ready to install so you can get back to work or riding without worrying about your engine.
Warranty & Confidence
Every engine includes a 1-year no-fault warranty. You can also upgrade to a 2-year no-fault warranty for an additional $450. If anything happens during that time, we replace your engine—no questions asked.

Engine Features & Rebuild Process
- OEM components restored and reused whenever possible
- Complete teardown, cleaning, inspection, and repair of all internal components
- Cylinder head cleaned, sandblasted, decked, rebuilt to manufacturer spec, and fully inspected
- Valve guides inspected and replaced as needed
- Valves and seats recut and vacuum tested for proper sealing
- Camshaft lobes and journals cleaned, polished, and replaced when necessary
- Crankshaft inspected and verified within OEM tolerances
- Main and rod bearings replaced with new high-babbitt coated bearings
- Cylinders inspected, bored, honed, or resleeved as required
- New moly-coated pistons and rings installed
- Timing chain inspected and replaced as needed
- Refurbished oil pump assembly
- Engine cases inspected, machined, and tested for wear, cracks, and damage
- All gaskets and seals replaced
- Engine assembled and torqued to factory specifications

Double Inspection Guarantee
Your engine is assembled by one master technician and then inspected by another. This two-stage inspection ensures everything meets spec before it leaves our shop.
Core Options
To receive your REV6 engine, you must provide your old core or pay a refundable $1500 core charge. If your core passes inspection, the full amount is refunded.
If you qualify, you can also choose a core exchange option to receive your rebuilt engine before sending in your core. Contact our team to go over your options.
