Engine Core Requirements

REV6 must receive your engine core before the rebuild begins when you select the rebuild-your-core option. Remove the exhaust, fuel-system components, electrical parts, and sensors before shipping unless REV6 provides different instructions for your order.

Our team inspects the core after arrival. If we find cracks, missing components, or damage beyond normal rebuild wear, we will contact you about any additional parts or costs before moving forward.

• Engine cases cleaned, blasted, and inspected for cracks and straightness
• Crankshaft and connecting rod inspection, with refurbishment as needed
• Cylinder servicing with replating and hone finishing
• New piston and rings
• New gasket kit

• New valve guide seals
• Valve and cylinder head service, including valve grinding and lash adjustment
• Timing chain inspection, with replacement when wear or stretch requires it
