2004–2006 Arctic Cat 650 V2 Engine Rebuild
Worn cylinder bores, piston rings, and valve components can affect compression in the Arctic Cat 650 V2 engine. REV6 rebuilds your supplied engine with cylinder machining, replacement pistons and rings, and cylinder head work. Our technicians also inspect the crankshaft, connecting rods, and engine cases before assembly.
What’s Included in Your Engine Rebuild
- Complete engine disassembly, cleaning, and core inspection
- Engine cases cleaned, blasted, and inspected for cracks and straightness
- Crankshaft and connecting rods inspected and refurbished to OEM specifications
- Cylinder bores machined to the next oversize, trued, and crosshatched
- New pistons and piston rings
- New engine gasket kit and oil seals
- New valve guide seals
- Cylinder head serviced, valves ground, and valve lash adjusted
- Timing chain and oil chain inspected for wear and replaced as needed
- Final assembly and independent second-technician inspection
Additional repairs may be required depending on the condition of your engine core.
Core Requirement and Shipping
This is a build-core engine service. REV6 requires your original Arctic Cat 650 V2 engine before rebuilding can begin.
After ordering, REV6 provides a prepaid shipping label and coordinates pickup through FedEx or another qualified carrier. Remove the exhaust, fuel-system components, electrical components, and sensors before shipment.
Once your engine arrives, our technicians inspect the core. Damage beyond normal wear may result in additional charges, which REV6 will invoice separately.

Warranty and REV6 Quality Control
REV6 uses a two-technician inspection process. One master technician assembles your engine, and another technician independently checks the completed rebuild.
Your Arctic Cat 650 V2 engine includes a standard 1-year warranty. An optional 2-year no-fault warranty upgrade is also available.
