The remanufactured engine for the 2016–2020 Can-Am Outlander 1000R is built with strict machining and assembly standards. Each engine goes through inspection, teardown, precision machining, component replacement, and controlled assembly. As a result, your engine returns with verified tolerances and improved reliability. Every engine includes a 1-year warranty, and an optional 2-year no-fault upgrade is available.

Warranty & Core Program

Core options are available. You can supply your own core or choose a $1,200 refundable core-charge option. Once your core is approved, the refund is issued. If you want the remanufactured engine shipped before returning your core, qualifying exchange options may be available.

We have streamlined the core return process for your convenience. We will send a prepaid box and arrange pickup, so all you need to do is remove your exhaust, fuel related components and sensors. What does your rebuild include?

• Standard No-Fault 1-year warranty with an optional 2-year No-Fault Warranty upgrade.
• We restore and reuse as many OEM parts as possible. We inspect and refurbish all OEM parts to guarantee high quality internals that keep your machine running reliably.
• All components are cleaned, dismantled, inspected and repaired as needed.
• Cylinder heads inspected, cleaned, sandblasted, decked, shimmed to manufacturer spec and undergoes a quality inspection.
• Valve guides inspected and replaced as needed.
• High-temperature valve stem seals installed.
• Valves and valve seats are recut/refaced to ensure tight seal, verified with vacuum test.
• Camshafts lobes and journals cleaned and polished, replaced as needed.
• Refurbished crankshaft.
• New high babbitt crankshaft and rod bearings.
• Cylinders inspected for damage, bored and honed to the next oversize or replated.
• Pistons replaced with a new pistons and rings.
• Timing chain inspected for stretch and wear, replaced as needed.
• Refurbished oil pump assembly.
• Fully inspected engine cases, tested for cracks, holes, or excessive wear.
• All gaskets and seals replaced.
• Engine assembled and torqued to manufacturer specifications.

Once your engine passes our quality control inspection, we will ship your new Rev6 rebuilt engine back to you!
