How the Process Works

This engine requires freight shipment. Shipping cost both to and from REV6 are included in the list price. Once purchased we will contact you with shipping and label details.

This is a build core engine service. We begin once your engine arrives at our facility.

• Place your order and receive prepaid shipping instructions
• Remove exhaust, fuel components, electrical, and sensors
• We arrange pickup and handle return shipping
• Complete teardown, inspection, machining, and rebuild
• Final inspection before the engine ships back to you

What’s Included in the Rebuild

• Standard 1-year warranty with optional 2-year no-fault upgrade
• Full engine teardown and inspection
• Crankshaft assembly inspected and rebuilt
• New high-babbitt crankshaft bearings installed
• Cylinders bored, honed, sleeved, or replated as needed
• New pistons, rings, and wrist pins installed
• Cylinder head rebuilt and resurfaced
• Valve guides serviced and replaced as needed
• Valves and seats recut and vacuum tested for proper sealing
• Camshaft cleaned, inspected, and polished
• Timing chain inspected and replaced when needed
• New gaskets and oil seals throughout
• Assembly completed by a master technician
• Double inspection before shipment
