Polaris Scrambler 850 Engine Rebuild Service

The Polaris Scrambler 850 is built for aggressive riding. However, over time, hard use leads to wear—loss of compression, reduced power, and inconsistent performance. When that happens, a full rebuild is the right way to bring it back.

At REV6, we tear down every engine, inspect each component, and rebuild it with corrected tolerances and refreshed internals. As a result, your Scrambler runs stronger, pulls harder, and holds up under demanding riding conditions.

What Gets Rebuilt

• Complete teardown, cleaning, and inspection of all components
• Cylinder head cleaned, decked, rebuilt, and set to specification
• Valve guides inspected and replaced when needed
• Valves and seats recut and vacuum tested for proper sealing
• Camshaft components cleaned, polished, and inspected
• Crankshaft inspected and verified to OEM tolerances
• New high-babbitt main and rod bearings installed
• Cylinders inspected, bored and honed, or resleeved when required
• New moly-coated pistons and rings installed
• Timing chain inspected and replaced when needed
• Refurbished oil pump assembly installed
• Engine cases inspected for cracks, wear, and damage
• All gaskets and seals replaced
• Final assembly torqued to manufacturer specifications

Every engine includes a 1-year no-fault warranty. In addition, you can upgrade to a 2-year no-fault plan for full coverage.

Core Options

You can send in your original core or choose a refundable $1200 core charge. Once your core passes inspection, the deposit is returned in full.
