Honda Rubicon 500 Engine Rebuild – Core Required

If your Honda Rubicon 500 engine is losing torque, burning oil, or showing signs of internal wear, we rebuild your original engine to restore dependable power and long-term durability. This is a core build listing, which means we must receive your engine before rebuild work begins.

Because we complete all machining and assembly in-house, we control bearing clearances, crankshaft alignment, and final torque specifications from teardown to completion.

Warranty Coverage

Every rebuilt Rubicon 500 engine includes a standard 1-year no-fault warranty. In addition, you may upgrade to a 2-year no-fault, no-questions-asked warranty for added protection.

Core Requirement

This is a core build engine only. We require your existing Rubicon 500 engine on-site to complete inspection and begin the remanufacturing process.

After placing your order, we provide everything needed to ship your core safely. Follow our simple tear-down instructions by removing exhaust, electrical, and fueling components before packaging.

What Your Engine Rebuild Includes

• Complete teardown, cleaning, and inspection of all components
• Refurbished crankshaft inspected and verified within OEM specifications
• Cylinder inspected for wear and damage, bored and honed to next oversize or replaced
• New piston and piston rings
• Cylinder head cleaned, decked, and rebuilt to manufacturer specifications
• Valve guides inspected and replaced as needed
• Valves and seats recut and verified with vacuum testing
• Camshaft lobes and journals cleaned and polished, replaced if required
• Timing chain inspected and replaced as needed
• Refurbished oil pump assembly
• Engine cases fully inspected and tested for cracks or excessive wear
• All gaskets and seals replaced
• Final assembly torqued to manufacturer specifications
