Polaris RZR 900 Engine Rebuild Service (2015–2016 Models)
When your RZR 900 starts losing consistency—whether it’s power fading, rough idle, or increased engine noise—it’s usually the result of internal wear building up over time. Fixing individual parts rarely solves the bigger issue. A full rebuild resets everything.
At REV6, we take the engine apart completely, inspect each component, and correct wear across the entire system.
What Gets Rebuilt
This process focuses on restoring sealing, clearances, and overall engine function.
- Complete teardown and inspection of all internal components
- Cylinder head rebuilt, cleaned, decked, and shimmed to specification
- Exhaust valve guides upgraded with manganese bronze material
- Intake valve guides inspected and replaced as needed
- Valves and seats recut and vacuum tested for proper sealing
- Camshaft components cleaned, polished, and inspected
- Crankshaft verified within OEM tolerances
- New high-babbitt main and rod bearings installed
- Cylinders inspected and reconditioned to restore proper finish
- New moly-coated pistons and rings installed
- Timing chain and oil chain inspected and serviced
- Refurbished oil pump assembly
- Engine cases inspected and machined where needed
- All gaskets and seals replaced
- Final assembly torqued to factory specifications

Each engine is assembled by one technician and then reviewed by another before it ships. That second inspection step helps ensure everything meets spec before it goes back into your machine.

You can send in your engine core or use the refundable $1200 core option. Once your core is inspected and approved, the deposit is returned.
