First, we inspect your core. Then we clean, machine, refurbish and replace key parts so the engine runs strong and lasts long. In addition, every unit gets a second check before it ships. As a result, you get smooth power and easy installs.

The Kawasaki KRX 1000 Engine Rebuild Service brings your UTV’s powerplant back to life. Send in your core, and our master technicians will rebuild it from the ground up.
REV6 Engine Rebuild Process
Because this is a core build engine service, we need your old engine sent to our facility. We will send you all the necessary shipping recommendations after you place your order. This includes everything you need to get your old core engine headed our way! Once you are ready, follow our core tear-down instructions. Just remove any exhaust, electrical, or fueling-related parts. Once your engine passes our quality control inspection, we ship your new Rev6 rebuilt engine back to you.
Once your engine passes our quality control inspection. Typical lead time is 2 weeks for your engine to be inspected and fully rebuilt. Once your engine passes our quality control inspection, we will ship your new Rev6 rebuilt engine back to you!
What Our Rebuild Service Includes:
- Standard 1-year warranty with an optional 2-year No-Fault Warranty upgrade.
- We restore and reuse as many OEM parts as possible. We inspect and refurbish all OEM parts to guarantee high quality internals that keep your machine running reliably.
- All components are cleaned, dismantled, inspected and repaired as needed.
- Cylinder head inspected, cleaned, sandblasted, decked, rebuilt to manufacturer spec and undergoes a quality inspection.
- Valve guides inspected and replaced as needed.
- Valves and valve seats are recut/refaced to ensure tight seal, verified with vacuum test.
- Camshafts lobes and journals cleaned and polished, replaced as needed.
- Refurbished crankshaft.
- New high-babbitt crankshaft bearings.
- Cylinders are replaced with refurbished nickel plated cylinders.
- Pistons replaced with new pistons and rings.
- Timing chains inspected for stretch and wear, replaced as needed.
- Fully inspected engine cases, tested for cracks, holes, or excessive wear.
- All gaskets and seals replaced.
- Engine assembled and torqued to manufacturer specifications.
