Worn crankshaft bearings can contribute to excessive oil clearance, bottom-end noise, or crankshaft movement. However, inspection and accurate measurement are necessary because other engine problems can cause similar symptoms.

This KRX 1000 Crankshaft Bearing Kit contains six blue bearings. It replaces Kawasaki part number 92139-0925.

Confirm the Required Bearing Color

Kawasaki uses color-coded crankshaft bearings to identify different bearing thicknesses. Therefore, do not assume blue bearings are correct based only on the model year.

Check the crankcase and crankshaft identification marks, then measure each journal and oil clearance according to the Kawasaki service specifications. Also inspect the crankshaft and engine cases for scoring, taper, distortion, or other damage before assembly.
