Description
2016–2027 Engine Rebuild for the CFMOTO CFORCE 800 and 850
This service covers the internal rebuild of a customer-supplied CFORCE 800 or CFORCE 850 engine. REV6 receives your engine core, evaluates its condition, and performs the machining and assembly work required by the inspection.
Because this is a build-core service, work begins with your original engine. That allows our technicians to base the rebuild on measured wear and confirmed internal damage.
What Happens After Your Engine Arrives
REV6 disassembles the core so the crankcase, crankshaft, cylinders, cylinder head, bearings, and sealing surfaces can be inspected. Serviceable parts are cleaned and refurbished. Meanwhile, worn or damaged parts covered by the rebuild are repaired or replaced as listed below.
What Your Engine Rebuild Includes
- Full inspection of the supplied engine core
- Crankcase assembly cleaned, inspected, and refurbished
- Crankshaft assembly inspected and rebuilt
- New high-babbitt crankshaft bearings
- Cylinders inspected for wear and damage
- Worn cylinders replaced with refurbished, hone-finished Nikasil-coated cylinders when required
- New pistons, piston rings, and wrist pins
- Cylinder head rebuilt and inspected
- Valve guides inspected and replaced as needed
- Valves and valve seats recut or refaced, then checked with vacuum testing
- Camshafts cleaned, inspected, and polished
- Mating surfaces decked or resurfaced as required
- Timing chains inspected for stretch and wear, then replaced as needed
- New gaskets and oil seals
- Remaining bearings cleaned and inspected, with replacement as needed
Two-Stage Build Inspection
A master engine technician assembles the engine after the required machining and parts work is finished. Then, a second technician reviews the completed build before the engine is approved for return shipment.
If the core has damage outside the listed rebuild work, REV6 will contact you to discuss the findings and available next steps.
Preparing and Sending Your Core
REV6 will send shipping instructions and tracking details after your purchase. Before shipment, remove the exhaust, electrical parts, fuel-system parts, and sensors from the engine.
Follow the engine core shipping instructions when preparing the engine. If you are unsure what should remain attached, contact REV6 before sending the core.
Engine Warranty and Payment Options
This CFORCE engine rebuild includes a standard 1-year REV6 warranty. An optional 2-year no-fault warranty is available if you want longer coverage.
You can also review REV6 financing options before placing your order. Our team can answer questions about payment options, core preparation, and current scheduling.
Before Returning Your ATV to Service
