2020–2025 Valve Stem Seals for the Can-Am Defender 1000
Valve stem seals help control oil as the valves move through their guides. Replace worn seals during cylinder-head work to restore the sealing components around the valve stems.

Inspect the Valves and Guides
Check each valve stem and guide for wear before installing new seals. Excessive stem-to-guide clearance can allow oil movement even when the seals are new.
Protect each seal from sharp edges during installation. Then, seat it to the correct depth without damaging the sealing lip.
