Measure the Cylinder and Piston

Check the cylinder bore for diameter, taper, and out-of-round wear. Next, inspect the piston and ring grooves for wear or damage.

Place each ring in its cylinder and measure the end gap before assembly. Then, install the rings in the correct grooves and orientation using the supplied specifications.
