2020–2025 Standard-Bore Piston Kit for the Can-Am Defender 1000

This Piston Kit is designed for a Can-Am Defender 1000 engine retaining its standard-bore configuration. REV6 master engine technicians selected and assembled the kit for the listed model years.

Standard-Bore Cylinder Options

REV6 lists separate cylinders for the front and rear locations. Review the Can-Am Defender 1000 Standard-Bore Front Cylinder or the Can-Am Defender 1000 Standard-Bore Rear Cylinder when cylinder replacement is also required.

Piston and Ring Options

If the existing piston remains usable and the repair only requires new rings, compare the Can-Am Defender 1000 Standard-Bore Piston Ring Set.

Installation Measurements

Measure the cylinder bore and piston before assembly. Then, verify piston-to-cylinder clearance and ring end gaps using the specifications supplied with the selected components.
