Bobcat 3400 570cc Gas Engine Rebuild for 2014–2019
The Bobcat 3400 570cc gas engine requires the correct engine configuration and serial-number match before replacement. REV6 rebuilds these engines with refurbished crankshafts, new bearings, pistons, rings, and cylinder head work. First, our technicians inspect the engine core. Then, they determine which OEM parts can be reused and which need repair or replacement.
Depending on cylinder wear, REV6 bores and hones the cylinder or has it replated. After assembly, the completed engine receives a final quality inspection before shipment.
What’s Included in the Bobcat 3400 Engine Rebuild
- Complete engine core inspection and cleaning
- OEM components inspected and refurbished when serviceable
- Cylinder head cleaned, sandblasted, resurfaced, and rebuilt
- Valve guides inspected and replaced as needed
- High-temperature valve stem seals installed
- Valves and valve seats recut, refaced, and vacuum tested
- Camshaft lobes and journals inspected and serviced as required
- Refurbished crankshaft
- New high-babbitt crankshaft and connecting rod bearings
- Engine cases inspected for cracks, damage, and wear
- Cylinder bored and honed to the next oversize or replated as required
- New pistons and piston rings
- Timing chain inspected and replaced as needed
- Oil pump inspected and refurbished as required
- New engine gaskets and seals
- Final assembly torqued to manufacturer specifications
- Quality control inspection before shipment

- Core Exchange: Select the refundable $800 core charge for a qualifying advance exchange, subject to engine availability.
Once REV6 receives your returned core, our technicians inspect its condition. If it meets the return requirements, REV6 issues the applicable core refund.
