Arctic Cat Prowler 650 Engine Rebuild
The Arctic Cat Prowler 650 engine can develop internal wear that affects compression, starting, and oil consumption. REV6 rebuilds your original engine with serviced cylinders, new pistons and rings, and refurbished crankshaft components.
First, our technicians inspect the engine to identify worn or damaged parts. Then, they determine whether the cylinder needs machining or replacement. Once the required work is complete, the engine moves through final assembly and inspection.
What Your Prowler 650 Engine Rebuild Includes
- Complete engine core inspection
- Engine cases cleaned, blasted, and inspected for cracks and straightness
- Crankshaft and connecting rods inspected and refurbished to OEM specifications
- Cylinder replaced or bored to the next oversize, trued, and crosshatched as required
- New piston and piston rings
- New engine gasket kit and oil seals
- New valve guide seals
- Cylinder head serviced, valves ground, and valve lash adjusted
- Timing chain and oil chain inspected and replaced as needed
- Final engine assembly and quality control inspection
Because engine cores arrive in different conditions, the required machining and replacement parts may vary.
Build-Core Requirement and Shipping
Your original engine core is required. REV6 must receive your Prowler 650 engine before the rebuild can begin.
After ordering, REV6 provides a shipping box, prepaid label, and pickup arrangements. Before packing, remove the exhaust, fuel-system components, electrical components, and sensors.
Once your engine arrives, our technicians inspect the core. If they find damaged components beyond normal wear, REV6 will invoice those additional repairs separately.

REV6 Engine Quality Control and Warranty
REV6 uses a two-technician inspection process. One master technician assembles the engine, while a second technician checks the completed rebuild.
Additionally, your rebuilt Arctic Cat Prowler 650 engine includes a standard 1-year warranty. An optional 2-year no-fault warranty upgrade is also available.
