The Polaris RMK 700 Complete Engine Rebuild Kit is designed for a rebuild where the original cylinders also need replacement. It gives 1999-2001 RMK 700 owners an option when cylinder wear, scoring, or damage rules out simply installing new pistons into the existing cylinders.

$150 Cylinder Core Refund

A $150 cylinder core fee is included in the purchase price, with $75 assigned to each cylinder. Send your original cylinder cores to REV6 for the applicable core refund after they are received and inspected.

Before Installing the New Top End

Before assembly, inspect the crankshaft, connecting rods, rod bearings, and intake components for wear or damage. Cylinder or piston damage can point to another engine problem, so identify and correct the cause of the original failure before installing the replacement components.

Prepare for Assembly

Clean the crankcase and gasket surfaces carefully while keeping debris away from the bottom end. Then verify piston orientation, ring placement, clearances, and all required specifications during assembly.

Do You Need Replacement Cylinders?

If your existing cylinders are still within specification, you may not need the additional cylinder coverage provided by this kit. For 1999-2001 models, review the available Polaris RMK 700 replacement cylinder if only one cylinder requires attention.
