Description

2014–2016 Polaris RZR 1000 Engine Rebuilding by REV6

Internal engine wear can affect compression, oil consumption, and how your Polaris RZR 1000 runs. REV6 rebuilds your 2014–2016 RZR 1000 engine by inspecting the complete assembly and addressing worn components throughout the engine.

Our technicians rebuild the cylinder head, inspect the crankshaft, recondition the cylinders, and install new pistons, bearings, gaskets, and seals. Each engine is assembled to manufacturer specifications and receives a second technician inspection before approval.

Rebuilt Cylinder Heads and Manganese Bronze Exhaust Guides

The RZR 1000 cylinder head receives cleaning, inspection, decking, and rebuilding work. REV6 upgrades the exhaust valve guides with manganese bronze material and checks the intake guides for wear.

Valves and seats are recut and vacuum tested to verify sealing. Camshaft components are also inspected and polished during the rebuilding process.

Crankshaft Inspection, New Bearings and Moly Pistons

REV6 verifies the crankshaft against OEM tolerances and installs new high-babbitt main and connecting rod bearings.

The cylinders are inspected and reconditioned to restore the required surface finish. New moly-coated pistons and rings are installed as part of the rebuild.

Two-Technician Engine Inspection

Each Polaris RZR 1000 engine is assembled by a REV6 technician and inspected by a second technician before final approval.

This additional inspection helps verify that the completed assembly meets REV6’s rebuilding and quality control requirements.

Polaris RZR 1000 Engine Core Program

An engine core is required. You can send your original RZR 1000 engine to REV6 or select the refundable $1,500 core charge option.

REV6 inspects returned cores to determine refund eligibility. Qualifying cores are eligible for a refund under the applicable core program requirements.

If you need a rebuilt engine before returning your original, ask about available REV6 core exchange options.
