This engine is available as a Build Core service. After placing your order, send your rebuildable Bobcat 3400 engine to REV6. Next, our technicians inspect your engine and begin the remanufacturing process. Once the rebuild is complete, our quality control team performs a final inspection before returning your engine ready for installation.

Every Bobcat 3400 500cc engine follows a detailed rebuild process focused on long-term reliability. Throughout the rebuild, our technicians inspect reusable OEM components, refurbish serviceable parts, and replace worn components whenever necessary.

• Complete inspection of your rebuildable engine core

• Cylinder head cleaned, sandblasted, resurfaced, rebuilt, and quality inspected
• Valve guides inspected and replaced as needed
• High-temperature valve stem seals installed
• Valves and valve seats recut, refaced, and vacuum tested
• Camshaft lobes and journals inspected and serviced as required
• Refurbished crankshaft
• New high-babbitt crankshaft and connecting rod bearings installed
• Engine cases inspected for cracks, damage, and excessive wear
• Cylinder inspected, bored and honed to the next oversize, or replated as required
• New pistons and piston rings installed
• Timing chain inspected and replaced when necessary
• Oil pump assembly inspected and refurbished as required
• New gaskets and seals installed
• Engine assembled and torqued to manufacturer specifications
