Engine Rebuild Service for the 2016–2027 CFMOTO ZFORCE 800

This is a build-core-only service for your CFMOTO ZFORCE 800. Therefore, REV6 must receive your original engine before teardown and rebuild work can begin.

Once the engine arrives, our technicians disassemble it and inspect the internal components. Next, we complete the required cleaning, machining, repair, and assembly work in-house. Finally, the rebuilt engine passes a separate quality-control inspection before return shipment.

What Your Engine Rebuild Includes

• Full inspection of the supplied engine core
• Crankcase assembly cleaned, inspected, and refurbished
• Crankshaft assembly inspected and rebuilt
• New high-babbitt crankshaft bearings
• Cylinders inspected and replaced with refurbished, hone-finished Nikasil-coated cylinders when required
• New pistons, piston rings, and wrist pins
• Cylinder head rebuilt and inspected
• Valve guides inspected and replaced as needed
• Valves and valve seats recut and checked with vacuum testing
• Camshafts cleaned, inspected, and polished
• Mating surfaces decked and resurfaced as required
• Timing chains inspected and replaced as needed
• New gaskets and oil seals
• Engine bearings cleaned and inspected, with replacement as required
• Assembly completed by a master engine technician
• Final inspection completed by a second technician

The required rebuild work depends on the condition of your engine core. If inspection reveals damage outside the listed rebuild process, REV6 will contact you before completing additional work.

Build-Core and Shipping Process

• Place your order to reserve the engine rebuild.
• REV6 will provide shipping instructions and tracking information after purchase.
• Remove the exhaust, electrical parts, fuel-system parts, and sensors from the engine core.
• Prepare the engine using the REV6 engine shipping instructions.
• Send the engine core to REV6 for inspection and rebuilding.
• After assembly and final inspection, REV6 ships the rebuilt engine back for installation.

You will also have access to the REV6 customer service team if questions come up while preparing or shipping your core.

Warranty and Financing

Your rebuilt engine includes a standard 1-year REV6 engine warranty. In addition, an optional 2-year no-fault warranty is available for added coverage.

Installation and Engine Break-In

Correct installation and break-in help protect the rebuilt components. Before the first ride, review the REV6 engine break-in procedure and follow the required fluid, heat-cycle, and service guidance.
