The Polaris RZR Pro R delivers exceptional horsepower and performance, which also places greater demands on its engine. If your engine has suffered internal damage, excessive wear, or loss of performance, REV6 can rebuild your original engine to manufacturer specifications using proven machining and inspection procedures.

This is a Build Core Engine service. After your order is placed, our team will send your work order, shipping instructions, and packaging recommendations so you can send your engine to REV6. Once your engine arrives, we inspect the core before rebuilding begins.

Engine Rebuild Process

• Complete teardown, cleaning, and inspection of all engine components
• Crankshaft remanufactured with a new connecting rod and precision trued
• Cylinder inspected, bored, honed to the next oversize, or replaced as required
• New moly-coated piston and piston rings installed
• Cylinder head cleaned, decked, rebuilt, and shimmed to manufacturer specifications
• Manganese bronze exhaust valve guide upgrade for improved durability
• Intake valve guides inspected and replaced as needed
• Valve seats and valves recut, then verified with vacuum testing
• Camshaft lobes and journals cleaned, polished, and replaced when necessary
• Timing chain and oil pump chain inspected and replaced as needed
• Refurbished oil pump assembly
• Engine cases inspected for journal wear, cracks, and structural damage
• New gaskets and seals installed throughout the engine
• Final assembly torqued to manufacturer specifications
• Quality control inspection completed before shipment

Your rebuilt engine includes the necessary gaskets and seals required to complete installation.

Build Core Process

Every Polaris RZR Pro R engine begins with your rebuildable engine core. After your purchase is complete, REV6 will provide the work order, shipping instructions, and preparation guidelines for sending your engine to our facility.

Once received, we evaluate the engine, complete the required machining and rebuilding procedures, perform a final inspection, and return your rebuilt engine ready for installation.

Warranty, Lead Time & Financing

Your rebuilt engine includes our standard 1-Year No-Fault Warranty. If you’d like even more protection, you can upgrade to our optional 2-Year No-Fault Warranty for an additional $450.

Most engine rebuilds are completed within 5–10 business days after your rebuildable core arrives. For current production schedules, we recommend contacting our team before placing your order.
