The Yamaha Wolverine RMAX 1000 Engine Rebuild Kit combines Standard (STD) piston kits, bearings, gaskets, seals, and timing components for engine service. It is designed for RMAX 1000 2-seat and 4-seat models.

Unlike the Engine Refresh Kit, this package includes two complete Standard (STD) piston kits rather than piston ring kits. Therefore, it provides the next level of rebuild coverage when new pistons are needed.

Engine Rebuild Kit vs. Engine Refresh Kit

This Engine Rebuild Kit includes two Standard (STD) piston kits. If your existing pistons remain serviceable and you only need replacement piston rings, consider the Yamaha Wolverine RMAX 1000 Engine Refresh Kit instead.

Inspect the Engine Before Assembly

Before installation, inspect the cylinders, crankshaft, connecting rods, engine cases, and bearing surfaces for wear or damage. In addition, confirm the correct piston and bearing clearances before assembly.

Then, follow the correct Yamaha procedures and specifications for piston installation, bearing clearances, engine timing, and final assembly.
