Complete Valve Kit for the Kawasaki Mule Pro-FX 1000 HD
The Pro-FX 1000 Complete Valve Kit supplies the intake valves, exhaust valves, and valve stem seals needed for all eight valve positions. The supplied components replace the OEM references listed below.

Intake and Exhaust Valve Coverage
Four Intake Valves
The kit includes four Intake Valves for the cylinder head. These valves replace OEM reference number 12004-0767.
Four Exhaust Valves
Four Exhaust Valves cover the remaining valve positions. Additionally, the supplied valves replace OEM reference number 12005-0791.
Eight Valve Stem Seals
The eight Valve Stem Seals provide one seal for each listed valve position. As a result, the kit supplies the confirmed seals needed during valve installation.
Upgraded Valve Materials
The intake and exhaust valves use upgraded alloys intended to handle elevated operating temperatures and longer run times. Meanwhile, the valve stem seals support oil control around the valve guides.
Because the kit includes both intake and exhaust valves, the engine builder can replace all eight valve positions with one package.
Valve Installation and Seat Checks
First, inspect the valve guides, seats, springs, retainers, and keepers. Next, verify valve-to-seat contact and seat width according to the correct Kawasaki procedure.
Only lap the valves lightly if the valve and seat materials allow that procedure. Finally, clean away all lapping compound and confirm the seal before assembling the cylinder head.
