Yamaha Wolverine RMAX 1000 Valve and Guide Kit

The Yamaha Wolverine RMAX 1000 Master Valve Kit provides the valve train parts needed for more extensive cylinder head service. It includes intake valves, exhaust valves, valve stem seals, and valve guides for RMAX 1000 2-seat and 4-seat models.

Because this Master Kit includes new valve guides, it goes beyond a standard valve replacement. When the cylinder head is apart, inspect the valve seats and related components before assembly.

Master Valve Kit vs. Complete Valve Kit

This Master Valve Kit includes eight valve guides in addition to the intake valves, exhaust valves, and valve stem seals. If your cylinder head does not require new valve guides, consider the Yamaha Wolverine RMAX 1000 Complete Valve Kit instead.

Cylinder Head Inspection and Assembly

Before installing the new parts, inspect the valve seats and cylinder head for wear or damage. In addition, confirm the valve guide fit and required clearances during the rebuild. Then, follow the correct Yamaha specifications when assembling the cylinder head.
