The Yamaha FX Cruiser SHO deserves more than just a replacement motor. At REV6, we completely remanufacture each 1800 engine with new and refurbished components and expert machining. The result is a strong and dependable engine that keeps your WaveRunner running at its best.

What You Get in Your REV6 Engine Rebuild

• Standard No-Fault 1-year warranty with an optional 2-year No-Fault Warranty upgrade.
• We restore and reuse as many OEM parts as possible. We inspect and refurbish all OEM parts to guarantee high quality internals that keep your machine running reliably.
• All components are cleaned, dismantled, inspected and repaired as needed.
• Cylinder head inspected, cleaned, sandblasted, decked, rebuilt to manufacturer spec and undergoes a quality inspection.
• Valve guides inspected and replaced as needed.
• Valves and valve seats are recut/refaced to ensure tight seal, verified with vacuum test.
• Camshafts lobes and journals cleaned and polished, replaced as needed.
• Refurbished crankshaft.
• Cylinder block is inspected for damage. If the bore is worn or damaged, requiring replating or sleeving, there will be additional fees incurred.
• Pistons replaced with a new pistons and rings.
• Timing chain inspected for stretch and wear, replaced as needed.
• Fully inspected engine cases, tested for cracks, holes, or excessive wear.
• All gaskets and seals replaced.
• Engine assembled and torqued to manufacturer specifications.

Once your engine passes our quality control inspection, we will ship your new Rev6 rebuilt engine back to you!

Build Core Engine – Important Notice

This product is sold as a Build Core Engine. It is not shipped as a drop-in ready motor. A good, rebuildable core is required to complete your engine remanufacture. Each core is fully torn down, inspected, machined, and rebuilt with new or remanufactured parts to meet REV6 standards.

Cores must be complete and free from cracks, missing parts, or excessive damage. For more information on core requirements, check our Help Center or contact us directly.
