Yamaha 242 LTD 1800 Engine | Jet Boat Rebuild (2013–2015)

This Build Core Engine is remanufactured for the 2013–2015 Yamaha 242 LTD jet boat. Once we receive your core, we fully disassemble the engine, inspect every part, machine to factory specs (or better), and rebuild it using new and refurbished internals. The result? A powerful, reliable marine engine made to go the distance.

Whether you’re running full throttle or cruising the lake, this engine gives you the confidence to push your boat without worrying about performance or longevity.

What’s Included in Your Engine Build

• Standard No-Fault 1-year warranty with an optional 2-year No-Fault Warranty upgrade.
• We restore and reuse as many OEM parts as possible. We inspect and refurbish all OEM parts to guarantee high quality internals that keep your machine running reliably.
• All components are cleaned, dismantled, inspected and repaired as needed.
• Cylinder head inspected, cleaned, sandblasted, decked, rebuilt to manufacturer spec and undergoes a quality inspection.
• Valve guides inspected and replaced as needed.
• Valves and valve seats are recut/refaced to ensure tight seal, verified with vacuum test.
• Camshafts lobes and journals cleaned and polished, replaced as needed.
• Refurbished crankshaft.
• Cylinder block is inspected for damage. If the bore is worn or damaged, requiring replating or sleeving, there will be additional fees incurred.
• Pistons replaced with a new pistons and rings.
• Timing chain inspected for stretch and wear, replaced as needed.
• Fully inspected engine cases, tested for cracks, holes, or excessive wear.
• All gaskets and seals replaced.
• Engine assembled and torqued to manufacturer specifications.

Once your engine passes our quality control inspection, we will ship your new Rev6 rebuilt engine back to you!

Build Core Engine Details

This engine is rebuilt from a core you provide. To qualify, the core must be complete and free of major cracks, missing parts, or excessive wear. We inspect all cores before starting the rebuild process to ensure the foundation meets our standards.
