Important Exhaust Mounting Bolt Note

Some 2007-2009 models may require the 8 mm exhaust mounting bolts used on 2010 and later models. Compare the original mounting hardware with the replacement cylinder before installation. These bolts are not identified in the supplied component list.

Check the Bottom End Before Assembly

Inspect the crankshaft, connecting rod areas, crankcase, and related bearings before installing the new top-end parts. In addition, verify piston clearance, ring end gap, and all sealing surfaces according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
