Top End Rebuild Kit for 2004-2010 Ski-Doo 600 SDI HO
Use the Ski-Doo 600 SDI piston kit when piston wear is present but both cylinders remain within their service limits. First, inspect and measure each bore before ordering.
What This Kit Includes
- (2) Wrist Pin Needle Bearings
- (2) Moly Forged Pistons
- Top End Gasket Kit
Measure Both Cylinder Bores
Next, check each bore for scoring, taper, and out-of-round wear. Also, verify piston clearance and ring end gap before assembly. Follow the required torque values and clearances during the rebuild.
Choose the Correct Top-End Package
If either cylinder requires replacement, compare the Ski-Doo 600 SDI HO Complete Top End Rebuild Kit. That package adds two cylinders.
However, if the pistons and cylinders remain reusable, review the Ski-Doo 600 SDI HO Gasket and Seal Kit.
Assembly and Break-In
Before startup, check piston direction, gasket placement, oil, and bolt torque. Then follow the correct startup steps. Finally, complete the recommended break-in before long pulls or heavy engine load.
