Description
Polaris ECU Bench Flash Tuning Service
Most tuning companies sell preloaded “canned” maps — one-size-fits-all junk that runs rich, knocks timing, and leaves power on the table. REV6 doesn’t do that. Every REV6 ECU bench flash starts from your actual stock ECU file, then gets rebuilt line by line to match your specific machine, setup, fuel, and riding style.
This is true calibration. Our tuning engineers use the same principles we apply in our engine building division, where we’ve built some of the strongest UTV and ATV engines in the country. The result is smoother power delivery, better throttle response, stronger midrange pull, and real-world reliability.
If your machine also needs internal engine work, our team offers complete Polaris engine rebuild services and can build your engine package around your tuning goals.

How REV6 Bench Flash Tuning Works
ECU Bench Flash Process
- Place your ECU bench flash tuning order online or over the phone.
- Remove the ECU from your machine.
- Package the ECU safely with padding inside a sturdy box.
- Include your machine information and completed ECU form inside the package.
- Ship the ECU directly to REV6.
- Our team bench reads your actual stock ECU file.
- Your custom calibration is rebuilt around your setup and modifications.
- The updated tune is flashed directly to your ECU.
- Your ECU ships back ready to install.
Modern ECU tuning has changed dramatically. Instead of chasing carburetor jets and timing adjustments for hours, today’s tuning allows precise calibration directly through the ECU strategy itself.
ECU Shipping Instructions
Sending Your ECU to REV6
When purchasing a bench flash tune, customers must send their ECU/ECM directly to REV6 for service.
Step 1 — Complete the ecu-tuning-service Download Form
Please complete the ECU Tuning Service Form and include it inside the package with your ECU/ECM.
The form requests:
- Full name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Order number
- Year, make, and model
- Tune stage requested
- Machine modifications and upgrades
- Additional comments or special requests
Step 2 — Package the ECU Carefully
The ECU should be wrapped in bubble wrap or protective padding and placed inside a sturdy box. Do not ship the ECU loose inside an envelope or soft package.
Customers are responsible for shipping the ECU to REV6. We do not provide inbound shipping labels due to liability concerns if the ECU becomes damaged or lost during transit.
Step 3 — Fast Return Shipping Included
Once the tuning service is completed, REV6 ships your ECU back using fast return shipping so you can get back on the machine quickly.
Information Required for Your Tune
Please send the following information to tuning@rev6sports.com so we can build the correct calibration for your machine:
- Full Name
- Email Address and Phone Number
- Order Number
- Year, Make, and Model
- Desired Tune Stage
- Fuel Type Being Used
- Tire Size, if changed
- Clutching Setup, if changed
- List of Current Machine Upgrades
- Any Current Running Issues or Special Requests
REV6 Bench Flash Pricing
$500 Total — Bench Flash ECU Tuning Service
This service includes:
- Bench read of your stock ECU file
- Custom REV6 calibration
- Direct ECU flash service
- Return shipping back to the customer
No TDN device is included with this option.
This service works well for customers who do not need remote flashing, data logging, future tune revisions through their phone, or live monitoring through the TDN app.
What Makes REV6 Different
True Custom ECU Files
We do not modify generic templates. Every calibration is rebuilt directly from your ECU file using HP Tuners software and advanced calibration tools.
Performance + Reliability
Our calibrations are designed to deliver usable power safely without excessive heat, lean conditions, detonation, or unstable drivability.
Factory-Level ECU Control
REV6 recalibrates:
- Throttle mapping
- Torque limits
- Fuel tables
- Ignition timing
- Cooling fan logic
- Speed limiters
- Rev limiters
- Idle control
- Drivability tables
Bench Flash Accuracy
Because we physically read and write the ECU on the bench, we can verify the flash process directly before shipping the ECU back.
Backed by Engine Builders
Nobody understands Polaris engine limitations better than the same team that builds, tests, and warranties Polaris engines every day.

Why REV6 Tuning
Most competitors raise a limiter or add fuel globally and call it a “performance tune.” REV6 rewrites the actual ECU strategy including airflow models, ignition mapping, throttle behavior, torque management, cooling logic, and fueling strategy.
The result is factory-style drivability with stronger performance, smoother operation, cleaner throttle control, and safer calibration logic.
Every REV6 tune is built using real ECU data, engine knowledge, and live experience from the same team that builds and warranties Polaris engines every day.

Important Notes
The ECU must be in good working condition before being sent in. REV6 cannot tune around mechanical issues, weak batteries, boost leaks, wiring problems, fuel pressure problems, bad sensors, clutching issues, or existing engine damage.
For modified machines, accurate information is critical. Incorrect or missing information can lead to poor drivability, lean conditions, hard starting, reduced performance, or possible engine damage.
For turbo models, fuel octane, boost levels, injector size, and supporting modifications must be verified before tuning.
Legal Notice
All tunes are intended for off-road and closed-course use only.
Horsepower gains vary depending on:
- Model
- Fuel quality
- Altitude
- Tire size
- Modifications
- Environmental conditions
