About the Crankshaft

In 2017 there were 2 versions of 570 crankshaft. Make sure yours is the 22mm taper at the beginning of the magneto side. Again, this crankshaft has a small taper mag end. End should measure 22mm at beginning of taper.

About the Head

Polaris ran two different 570 heads throughout the years, a new style and an old style. The way to tell which head you have is to examine your exhaust port. If you have a reccessed, crush-washer style head this is the old style and is the head that is included in this listing. Make sure your exhaust port looks like the one included in our photos.
