About the Crankshaft

In 2017 there were 2 versions of 570 crankshaft. Make sure yours is the 25mm taper at the beginning of the magneto side. Again, this crankshaft has a large taper mag end. End should measure 25mm at beginning of taper. Some 2017 models did have the 22mm taper end and the crankshaft listed here will not work for you. If you have a 2017 RZR/Ranger or Sportsman 570 (6×6 only) these ran the old-style 570 crank. Please make sure your vehicle is on the list below and double check your crank measurements to make sure you get the right parts for your machine.

About the Head

Polaris ran two different 570 heads from 2021-2025, a new style and an old style. The way to tell which head you have is to examine your exhaust port. This listing is for the old-style head which has a reccessed, crush-washer style exhaust port. We’ve included a photo of the exhaust port of the head that we are sending with this kit. Please also make sure that your vehicle (including your sub-model) is listed below to ensure this kit will work for you.
