Polaris Ranger 900 Engine Rebuild Service (2017–2024 Models)

When a Ranger 900 starts losing power or burning oil, it’s usually a sign that internal wear has caught up. Fixing one component at a time rarely solves it. A full rebuild resets everything so the engine runs smoothly again.

At REV6, we take the engine apart completely, inspect each component, and correct wear across the entire system. The goal is simple—bring it back into proper working condition so it performs the way it should.

What Gets Rebuilt

This process focuses on restoring sealing, clearances, and overall engine function—not just replacing parts.

• Complete teardown and inspection of all internal components
• Cylinder head rebuilt, cleaned, and set to proper specification
• Exhaust valve guides upgraded with manganese bronze material
• Intake valve guides inspected and replaced as needed
• Valves and seats recut and vacuum tested for proper sealing
• Camshaft components cleaned, polished, and inspected
• Crankshaft verified within OEM tolerances
• New high-babbitt main and rod bearings installed
• Cylinders inspected and reconditioned to restore proper finish
• New moly-coated pistons and rings installed
• Timing chain and oil chain inspected and serviced
• Refurbished oil pump assembly
• Engine cases inspected and machined where required
• All gaskets and seals replaced
• Final assembly torqued to factory specifications

You can send in your engine core or use the refundable $1200 core option. Once your core is inspected and approved, the deposit is returned.
