The Polaris Ranger 900 Engine rebuild is built for riders who depend on their machine every day. This remanufactured engine fits both XP and non-XP models and is rebuilt from the ground up to restore factory clearances, strong sealing, and dependable performance.

At REV6, every engine goes through a rigorous quality control process. Each build includes a standard 1-year no-fault warranty, with an optional 2-year no-fault, no-questions-asked warranty upgrade available. If something happens, we stand behind it—plain and simple.

ENGINE FEATURES & BUILD STANDARDS

• OEM components are reused whenever possible and fully refurbished
• All parts cleaned, dismantled, inspected, and repaired as needed
• Crankshaft inspected and verified within OEM specifications
• New high-babbitt-coated crankshaft main and rod bearings installed
• Cylinders are inspected and replaced when wear exceeds limits
• Refurbished and honed-finished Nikasil-coated cylinders are used when required
• Moly-coated pistons and rings installed
• Refurbished oil pump assembly
• All gaskets and seals replaced
• Final assembly torqued to manufacturer specifications

CYLINDER HEAD & VALVETRAIN REBUILD

• Cylinder head cleaned, sandblasted, decked, and rebuilt
• Valve clearances shimmed to the manufacturer’s specification
• Exhaust valve guides replaced with manganese bronze guides
• Intake valve guides inspected and replaced as needed
• Valves and seats recut and refaced for proper sealing
• Vacuum-tested to confirm sealing integrity
• Camshaft lobes and journals cleaned, polished, or replaced as needed
• Timing chain and oil chain are inspected and replaced when wear is present

QUALITY CONTROL & EXPERIENCE

• Engines assembled by one master technician
• Second master technician performs final inspection

CORE OPTIONS

A usable engine core is required. You may send in your core or choose to pay a refundable core charge of $1,200. If your returned core meets rebuild standards, the charge is fully refunded.
