The Polaris Sportsman 1000 is a powerful machine, and when the engine begins to wear, a full professional rebuild is the most dependable way to restore performance. Every Rev6 engine comes standard with our No-Fault 1-year warranty, and you can upgrade to a 2-year No-Fault warranty for an additional $450. If anything happens during that period, we replace the engine—no questions asked.

Each engine goes through detailed inspections, precision machining, and final verification by master technicians. With Rev6, you get a Sportsman 1000 engine that runs as good as new, backed by a proven quality process.

ENGINE FEATURES & REBUILD PROCESS

• Standard 1-year No-Fault warranty, with an optional 2-year upgrade.
• OEM components restored and reused whenever possible to ensure long-term reliability.
• Complete teardown, cleaning, inspection, and repair of all internal components.
• Cylinder head cleaned, sandblasted, decked, rebuilt to manufacturer spec, and fully inspected.
• Valve guides inspected and replaced as needed.
• Valves and seats recut/refaced to ensure a proper seal, verified with a vacuum test.
• Camshaft lobes and journals cleaned and polished; replaced when necessary.
• Crankshaft inspected and verified to meet OEM tolerances.
• Main and rod bearings replaced with new high-babbitt coated bearings.
• Cylinders inspected for wear; bored and honed to oversize as needed or resleeved when required.
• New moly-coated pistons and rings installed.
• Timing chain inspected and replaced as needed.
• Refurbished oil pump assembly for proper oiling.
• Engine cases inspected, machined, and tested for journal wear, cracks, or damage.
• All gaskets and seals replaced with new components.
• Final assembly torqued to factory specifications.

DOUBLE-INSPECTION GUARANTEE

Every Sportsman 1000 engine is assembled by a master technician and then inspected by another. This two-stage review ensures your engine meets the Rev6 reliability standard.

CORE OPTIONS

To receive your Rev6 engine, you must provide your old core or pay a refundable $1500 core charge. If your core passes inspection, the full amount is refunded. Customers who qualify may also choose our core-exchange option if they prefer to receive their rebuilt engine before sending in their core.
