Kawasaki Ultra 260X Engine Rebuild by REV6
Bring your 2009-2010 Kawasaki Ultra 260X engine back to REV6 for a full rebuild. We inspect the core first, then address the crankshaft, cylinders, pistons, cylinder head, valve train, bearings, seals, and other key areas based on what your engine needs.
Before the engine leaves our shop, another technician checks the completed build. Plus, every rebuild comes with a standard 1-year no-fault warranty, with an optional 2-year no-fault warranty upgrade available.
What We Inspect, Rebuild & Replace
Crankcase, Crankshaft & Cylinders
- Full engine core inspection
- Crankcase assembly inspected
- Crankshaft assembly inspected and rebuilt
- New high-babbitt crankshaft bearings
- Cylinders bored and honed to the next oversize, re-sleeved, or Nikasil replated as needed
- New pistons, rings, and wrist pins
- Mating surfaces decked and resurfaced for proper sealing
Cylinder Head & Valve Train
- Cylinder head rebuilt
- Valve guides inspected and replaced as needed
- Valves and valve seats recut or refaced, then checked with a vacuum test
- Camshafts cleaned, inspected, and polished
- Timing chain checked for stretch and wear, then replaced as needed
Bearings, Seals & Final Inspection
- New gaskets and oil seals
- Bearings cleaned and inspected, then replaced as needed
- Engine assembled by an experienced REV6 technician
- Completed engine checked before shipment
- Second technician reviews the finished build for added quality control

How to Send In Your Ultra 260X Engine
Place Your Rebuild Order
Order your engine rebuild first. Then, the REV6 team will follow up with instructions for shipping your original Ultra 260X engine core to our shop.
After Your Engine Is Rebuilt
Once the rebuild passes our final checks, we prepare the engine for return shipment and provide tracking information. After installation, follow the REV6 Engine Break-In Procedure Guide before returning your Jet Ski to regular use.
