Complete Camshaft Kit for the 2020-2026 Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000
Reduced power, a rough idle, or unusual valvetrain noise can point to wear within the camshaft and timing system. However, inspect the components before ordering because several engine issues can produce similar symptoms.
This KRX 1000 Complete Camshaft Kit combines the intake and exhaust camshafts with a cam chain and two chain guides. It provides broader valvetrain coverage than replacing either camshaft by itself.

Inspect the Valvetrain During Installation
Check the cylinder head cam journals, sprockets, tensioner, and related valvetrain surfaces for scoring or abnormal wear. In addition, confirm cam timing and chain tension according to the Kawasaki service specifications before starting the engine.
The valve cover must be removed for installation. Therefore, inspect its gasket and bolt seals before reassembly. The Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000 Valve Cover Seal Kit is available separately if those sealing components need replacement.
