Engine Rebuild Service for the 2015–2023 Mule Pro-FXT 820
The Kawasaki Mule Pro-FXT 820 Engine Rebuild Service restores your original engine core at the REV6 facility in Utah. Our technicians disassemble, clean, inspect, machine, and rebuild the engine, then complete final quality control.
This is a core-build-only service. REV6 must receive your original engine before inspection and rebuild work can begin.
Prepare Your Engine Core
Remove the exhaust and sensors before sending your engine core to REV6. Then, review the REV6 engine shipping instructions for current packaging and freight requirements.
After the engine arrives, REV6 inspects the core and identifies any damage outside the standard rebuild process. Contact our team before shipping if you have questions about the condition or completeness of your core.

What Your Engine Rebuild Includes
- Complete engine disassembly, cleaning, and inspection
- OEM components inspected and refurbished when suitable for reuse
- Cylinder head cleaned, sandblasted, decked, rebuilt, and inspected
- Valve guides inspected and replaced as needed
- Valves and valve seats recut or refaced, then checked through vacuum testing
- Camshaft lobes and journals cleaned and polished, then replaced as needed
- Refurbished crankshaft
- Cylinder block inspected, bored and honed to the next oversize, or resleeved
- New pistons and piston rings
- Timing chain inspected for stretch and wear, then replaced as needed
- Refurbished oil pump assembly
- Engine cases inspected for cracks, holes, and excessive wear
- All gaskets and seals replaced
- Engine assembled and torqued to manufacturer specifications
Inspection and Final Assembly
REV6 checks each reusable OEM component before it returns to the engine. After machining and component replacement, our technicians complete the assembly to the required specifications. The rebuilt engine must pass final quality control before return shipment.
