Rebuild Your 2018–2023 Kawasaki Mule Pro-FXR 820 Engine
The Kawasaki Mule Pro-FXR 820 Engine rebuild restores your original engine core through inspection, machining, component replacement, and careful assembly. REV6 completes the work at our Utah engine facility.
This is a core-build-only service. Therefore, REV6 must receive your original engine before the inspection and rebuild process can begin.
Prepare Your Core for Shipping
Remove the exhaust and sensors before sending the engine to REV6. Next, follow the REV6 engine shipping instructions for current packaging and freight requirements.
Our technicians inspect the core after it arrives. If the engine has damage beyond the standard rebuild process, REV6 will identify the affected components before completing the work.

What Your Engine Rebuild Includes
- Standard 1-year warranty with an optional 2-year No-Fault Warranty upgrade
- OEM components inspected and refurbished when suitable for reuse
- All components disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and repaired as needed
- Cylinder head cleaned, sandblasted, decked, rebuilt, and inspected
- Valve guides inspected and replaced as needed
- Valves and valve seats recut or refaced, then verified through vacuum testing
- Camshaft lobes and journals cleaned and polished, then replaced as needed
- Refurbished crankshaft
- Cylinder block inspected, bored and honed to the next oversize, or resleeved
- New pistons and piston rings
- Timing chain inspected for stretch and wear, then replaced as needed
- Refurbished oil pump assembly
- Engine cases inspected for cracks, holes, and excessive wear
- All gaskets and seals replaced
- Engine assembled and torqued to manufacturer specifications
Inspection and Reassembly
REV6 measures and inspects the reusable OEM components before reinstalling them. The cylinder block and cylinder head receive the required machining, while worn components are replaced as specified above. Finally, the assembled engine goes through quality control before return shipment.
