Our Talon 1000 Engine offering is a core build service, which means you send us your old engine for a complete rebuild. We guarantee the rebuilt engine will be as good as new. In fact, we stand by our work with a standard 1-year warranty. Moreover, you can purchase an optional 2-year, no-fault, no-questions-asked warranty for an additional $450. REV6 Engine Rebuild Process
Because this is a core build engine service, we need your old engine sent to our facility. We will send you all the necessary shipping information after you place your order. This includes everything you need to get your old core engine headed our way! Once your box arrives, follow our core tear-down instructions. Just remove any exhaust, electrical, or fueling related parts. After you pack your engine, we send FedEx to your door for pickup. Once your engine passes our quality control inspection, we ship your new Rev6 rebuilt engine back to you.

What the Rebuild Includes
- Standard No-Fault 1-year warranty with an optional 2-year No-Fault Warranty upgrade.
- We restore and reuse as many OEM parts as possible. We inspect and refurbish all OEM parts to guarantee high quality internals that keep your machine running reliably.
- All components are cleaned, dismantled, inspected and repaired as needed.
- Cylinder head inspected, cleaned, sandblasted, decked, rebuilt to manufacturer spec and undergoes a quality inspection.
- Valve guides inspected and replaced as needed.
- Valves and valve seats are recut/refaced to ensure tight seal, verified with vacuum test.
- Camshaft lobes and journals cleaned and polished, replaced as needed.
- Refurbished crankshaft.
- Cylinder block is inspected for damage, bored and honed to the next oversize or re-sleeved.
- Pistons replaced with new pistons and rings.
- Timing chain inspected for stretch and wear, replaced as needed.
- Refurbished oil pump assembly.
- Fully inspected engine cases, tested for cracks, holes, or excessive wear.
- All gaskets and seals replaced.
- Engine assembled and torqued to manufacturer specifications.
