Description
Turbo System for the Can-Am Maverick Trail 1000 and 1000R
This pump-fuel turbo system adds 5 psi of boost to the listed Can-Am Maverick Trail models. The fuel controller, supplied base map, and wideband provide the key fuel-management components listed for the installation.
Because engine condition and setup affect turbo performance, confirm the fuel requirements, installation needs, and supporting engine condition with REV6 before ordering.
Turbo System Specifications
- 5 psi boost level
- High-volume turbo design
- Designed for pump fuel
- Fuel controller with base map
- Wideband
- Listed turbo system components
Reported Power and Torque
The current specifications report an increase from 69 rear-wheel horsepower to approximately 108 rear-wheel horsepower or higher. They also report an increase from 36 lb-ft of torque to approximately 68 lb-ft.
Actual output can vary with fuel, elevation, engine condition, drivetrain setup, tires, clutching, tuning, and dyno method. Contact REV6 if you need the applicable test details before using these figures for a specific build.
Pump Fuel, Base Map, and Wideband
The supplied fuel controller includes a base map for the turbo system. However, you should still monitor the wideband during setup and operation to verify the air-fuel ratio.
Before installation, confirm the required fuel octane and whether your engine setup needs additional tuning. Do not assume that one calibration suits every elevation, fuel type, or engine configuration.
Installation Planning
Inspect the engine before adding boost. Verify compression, oil pressure, cooling-system condition, fuel delivery, and valve adjustment according to the appropriate Can-Am specifications.
Turbo installation also requires correct routing, secure connections, and careful heat management. We recommend professional installation if you don’t have experience with turbocharging and fuel-system setup.
