• Cylinder head inspected, cleaned, sandblasted, decked, shimmed to manufacturer spec and undergoes a quality inspection.
• Valve guides inspected and replaced as needed.
• High-temperature valve stem seals installed.
• Valves and valve seats are recut/refaced to ensure tight seal, verified with vacuum test.
• Camshafts lobes and journals cleaned and polished, replaced as needed.
• Refurbished crankshaft.
• New high babbitt crankshaft and rod bearings.
• Cylinder inspected for damage, bored and honed to the next oversize or replated.
• Pistons replaced with a new pistons and rings.
• Timing chain inspected for stretch and wear, replaced as needed.

Core Exchange Information:

To receive your REV6 engine, return your old core or pay a refundable $1,200 core charge. If your core passes inspection, we will refund the charge in full. You can also contact us to confirm if your core qualifies or to arrange an exchange that avoids the upfront charge.
