Rebuilt Engine for the 2020–2025 Can-Am Defender HD10

The Can-Am Defender HD10 Engine is rebuilt at the REV6 shop in Utah. First, our technicians take the engine apart and inspect its internal parts. Next, they clean, machine, repair, and replace components before final assembly.

A 1-year no-fault warranty comes standard with this rebuild. In addition, you can choose an optional 2-year no-fault warranty for longer coverage.

What Your Engine Rebuild Includes

• Standard 1-year no-fault warranty with an optional 2-year no-fault upgrade
• Inspection and reuse of serviceable OEM components
• Complete engine disassembly, cleaning, and inspection
• Cylinder head cleaning, blasting, decking, and shimming to specification
• Valve guides inspected and replaced when needed
• High-temperature valve stem seals installed
• Valves and valve seats recut and vacuum tested
• Camshaft lobes and journals cleaned and polished or replaced as needed
• Refurbished crankshaft
• New high-Babbitt crankshaft and connecting-rod bearings
• Cylinders inspected, bored and honed, or replated as required
• New pistons and piston rings installed
• Timing chain inspected and replaced if worn
• Refurbished oil pump assembly
• Engine cases inspected for cracks and wear
• All gaskets and seals replaced
• Final assembly torqued to manufacturer specifications
