Description
This remanufactured engine service is built for Can-Am Defender HD10 owners who need reliable power back in their machine. When hours stack up or damage sets in, REV6 rebuilds your engine the right way. Each engine comes with a standard 1-year no-fault warranty, plus an optional 2-year no-fault upgrade.
First, you send in your engine core or choose an exchange option. Next, our technicians tear the engine down and inspect every part. Then, we clean, repair, and upgrade components as needed before final assembly. As a result, you get an engine built to factory specs and ready for hard work.
THIS KIT INCLUDES
- Standard 1-year no-fault warranty with optional 2-year no-fault upgrade
- Inspection and reuse of serviceable OEM components
- Complete engine disassembly, cleaning, and inspection
- Cylinder head cleaning, blasting, decking, and shimming to spec
- Valve guides inspected and replaced when needed
- High-temperature valve stem seals installed
- Valves and valve seats recut and vacuum tested
- Camshaft lobes and journals cleaned and polished or replaced as needed
- Refurbished crankshaft
- New high babbitt crankshaft and rod bearings
- Cylinders inspected, bored and honed or replated as required
- New pistons and piston rings installed
- Timing chain inspected and replaced if worn
- Refurbished oil pump assembly
- Engine cases inspected for cracks and wear
- All gaskets and seals replaced
- Final assembly and torque to manufacturer specifications
